This morning at 2 AM I sent the whole of my book to my publisher at Outskirts Press. For a whole 5 minutes after i hit the send button i paced the entire width of my apartment, going from room to room.......praying.....mostly for myself.
It's one thing to write your work in a college essay and send it to your professor, but my friends it is completely terrifying to send your work to a publisher who then gets to analyze every detail. But tis the game we play i suppose when we self publish,... and seeing as I only got in the game 9 months ago, i am still a freshman.
As i paced the room praying....i kept thinking over in my head...."Is it finished?"......" Is it finished?"
I had spent the last 4 years researching about these governors....then the last 9 month writing about them.....and though i knew not at the time what the outcome would be i kept going. But today i have my answer. In three months "it WILL be finished!"

"Love is patient, Love is Kind."
I am a conservative. I do not hold fast to any political party but choose to make my political convictions and decisions based on my faith and values.
It has come as a shock and now frustration to hear that Governor Scott Walker, a self proclaimed 100% Pro-Life governor, has hired on pro-abortion advocate Alleigh Marre to be his Press Secretary on his re-election campaign. Miss Marre has previously worked for abortion advocate Scott Brown in Massachusetts and the National Republican Congregational Committee.
She has come out boldly supporting Planned Parenthood, a woman's right to choose and birth control in a blog she once ran.
As i have said before, i vote on individuals who show faith and values, so as far as my ever growing knowledge of the Republican Parties lack of support for pure Pro-Life values, i am not surprised. I am shocked that Scott Walkers Campaign has signed on for this kind of conflict of interest. I am very sure that Miss Marre is a very good political analyst, but her values are not mine and they certainly are not Scott Walkers.
I ask you all to contact the Friends of Walker Campaign headquarters at: 1608-441-1640.
Tell them you disagree with the choice of pro-abortion advocate Alleigh Marre as Press Secretary.
i leave with this:
"Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to death; don't stand back and let them die. Don't try to disclaim responsibility by saying you didn't know about it."
Love Is Patient-
Welcome to the Love is Patient blog!
For a week now I have pondering this verse. The end result: Am I truly a loving person? If not, what can i do to be more loving?"
As i start this blogging journey, i will be exploring different topics from family, faith, politics and advocacy and how to be loving in each area.
I hope you stay tuned.
