We are broken. We are hurt. We are empty, in need of something more.
A people hurt and abused, weary, ashamed and guilty, patternless, parent-less, child-less, friendless, unforgiven, forgotten, unwanted, unneeded,.
We are prayed out, churched-out, the song is out of their voice and their step in not quick. The rules and religions have suppressed their minds and wounded their souls. Hope, keeping the faith, and brighter days all seem to be cliches.
You have little to offer , and all time to spare. Your well is dry, and your heart is to
Matthew 4:19, 11:28, 19:14 and John 6:37 all have in common? One word: "COME".
Jesus didn't classify or analyze this pain. He just said "COME".
"Let the little children COME to me..."
"COME to me all who are weary..."
" Come Follow me..."
"Whoever COMEs to me, i will never drive away..."
I plead with you today, when you see this unspeakable emotion of empathy for the lost, don't delay, don't classify.
Lead them to the King. He is calling us all to COME.
